Looking into the hazardous impact of the improper disposal of waste on environment, emphasis should be given to effective recycling and reusing mechanisms. This floral offerings increase at the time of festive seasons. There is a continuous increase in the floral offerings due to continuous increase in population. The proportion of people working in India slipped and the share of unemployment ticked up and this is much greater in the women due to various family obligations to study or work. The crisis of unemployment is stark and in rural areas this is higher compared to urban areas. We want to address these two issues simultaneously by making of incense sticks using these floral offerings at places of worship and employing the women in this process (either part time or full time) who are otherwise unemployed due to lack of education and family obligations.
