Mercedes-Maybach GLS 680 for 2027 has been revealed, and it's set to reach US dealerships later in 2026.

-- The big update sits under the hood, where the electrified V8 biturbo now makes 603 ps and 627 lb-ft of torque, a jump of 53 ps and 89 lb-ft over the outgoing unit.

-- Steering has also been revised for a more direct ratio, and the suspension gets a new AIRMATIC system with cloud based damper control that reads data from other Mercedes cars ahead in real time.

-- On the inside, things get even more indulgent. The Burmester sound system now runs 15 speakers with a 710 watt amp, rear Executive Seats get a new massage function that extends to the calf rests, and the cabin runs on the latest MBUX Superscreen setup with Maybach specific displays.

-- There's a redesigned Maybach grille with an illuminated surround, self leveling 23 inch wheels that keep the star upright at all times, and electric running boards that extend the moment a door opens.

-- A new two tone Dark Petrol and Verde Silver Metallic finish also joins the paint lineup.
