Healthy soil is the foundation of a sustainable agricultural future 🌱
The nationwide Khet Bachao Abhiyan by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare aims to create awareness on balanced fertilizer usage, modern agricultural practices, and government initiatives supporting the farming community.
By protecting soil health today, we ensure stronger crops, better productivity, and a more secure future for generations to come.

The Farmers’ Interactive Panel Discussion at the IOPEPC Capacity Building Program & Trade Meet, Rajkot, brought together progressive farmers of Gujarat in direct dialogue with the trade community. Their first-hand accounts of ground realities, crop conditions, and market challenges provided an invaluable perspective — one that no data presentation can fully replace. IOPEPC remains committed to ensuring that the farmer’s voice is central to every trade conversation.

As India advances towards deeper trade integration with the European Union, quality compliance will remain central to strengthening market access and global competitiveness.

To fully realise the potential of the India–EU FTA, there is a need for transparent and science-based compliance systems, greater recognition of laboratory equivalence, and streamlined certification and inspection mechanisms. Such collaborative approaches can help reduce unnecessary Technical Barriers to Trade (TBTs) and facilitate smoother exports for Indian agri-products.

IOPEPC continues to advocate for globally accepted standards, stronger quality infrastructure, and fair trade practices that support Indian oilseed exporters in international markets.
