D for Drama is a Mumbai based theatre group that blends modernity and tradition. A group of enterprising theatre personalities have come together with the vision to collaborate with a plethora of creative minds, creating unique works of theatre each time. Formed in 2012 by Kumud Mishra, Ghanshyam Lalsa, it is primarily a group of actors looking forward to try something exciting with new writers and directors each time.

Adapted from the ancient Greek classic by Aristophanes in Hindi-Bundelkhandi by this play directed by reminds us that strength sometimes comes wrapped in laughter. Because sometimes to end war… you need to change everything about how we play the game.
A bold, b***y, and brilliantly satirical take on Aristophanes’ Lysistrata — where the women unite to stop an endless war by… well, denying the men anything they really want until peace prevails. A powerful comedy about female will, solidarity and creative resistance that still echoes today.
