Orion Racing India

ORI17C marked a new chapter for Orion Racing India — our first car to compete at two international Formula Student competitions in the same season.

In 2017, ORI17C competed at Formula Student Germany and Formula Student Italy, earning 3rd place in Cost & Manufacturing at FSG. The following year, it returned home to secure the National Champions title at Formula Bharat 2018.

More than a race car, ORI17C represented a team ready to compete and win on every stage. 🌍

Named after Orion’s brightest star, Rigel became the lightest car we had ever built. A brilliant blend of performance and precision, it secured Overall Rank 1 at Formula Student India 2016, with victories in Endurance & Efficiency, while also taking 1st in Cost & Manufacturing at FSG.
