In Mumbai's M-East Ward one of the city's most heat-exposed areas street vendors work 8 to 10 hours a day in the open sun. Over April and May, we listened to 40 vendors share how intense urban heat shapes their days.🌞

What we heard was quietly urgent. From a lack of nearby toilets causing them to drink less water, to working through illness because they can't afford to rest, these workers live with the constant effects of heat. No one has received any formal heat-health guidance.πŸ—£οΈ

The hopeful part? The solutions already exist. Clinics, health workers, and frameworks are nearby. We just need to connect these existing systems to the people working just outside their reach.πŸ™ŒπŸ»
