Hospital, Dublin. He returned in 1963 and started a small 9 bedded Hospital in Wadala, Mumbai and christened it Rotunda Nursing Home. In 1996, his son Dr Gautam N Allahbadia started India's first S***m Bank run to ASRM guidelines at the same site and called it Rotunda S***m Bank. In 2000, he founded a full-service ART Center at Bandra, Mumbai called Rotunda-The Center For Human Reproduction. In 2008, we founded India's first "Budget IVF" Center called Rotunda Blue at Dadar, Mumbai supported by a family charity registered with the Government of India "hARI" or Human Assisted Reproduction India at Rotunda Blue. Rotunda - the Center for Human Reproduction is now at Parel on the Sixth floor of Trust House on Hospital Avenue, in front of Global Hospitals and behind the ITC Grand Central Hotel. All fertility procedures are offered here by an experienced team of doctors, embryologists, endoscopists and paramedical staff. The costs are kept reasonable so that the best possible Fertility solutions can be offered to all patients, under one roof. Our founder director Dr Gautam Allahbadia is a world renowned Fertility specialist with several books and research papers to his name. He ensures that Rotunda staff is trained in the latest procedures around the world and that the clinic offers the latest treatments following evidence based medicine. With over 10,000 pregnancies in patients from 36 countries Rotunda continues to serve fertility patients from all walks of life.
