The sports and lifestyle brand, playR has inked new sponsorship agreements with two Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

The five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions, Mumbai Indians (MI) have decided to continue their partnership with the Indian artificial intelligence (AI) platform, Haptik.

The partnership between MI and the AI company helped the Mumbai-based unit to increase its fan fanbase by achieving 1.5 million fans since January 2021. The users have interacted with the chatbot in English, Hindi, and Marathi, demonstrating Haptik’s powerful multilingual capabilities as a platform that caters to more than 100 global languages. The chatbot has driven an automation rate of 94.2%.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have signed a partnership with the Indian healthcare institution, Manipal Hospitals.

Following the partnership, Manipal Hospitals has been named the official healthcare partner of RCB for IPL 2023.

The Bengaluru-based unit announced its affiliation through its Instagram platform.
