TlkOut Initiative ensures that every member on our platform has a seamless experience that motivates them to be themselves. We make sure that our members don’t feel like potential customers at the hands of third parties by providing a completely ad-free platform. Moreover, we guarantee safety by weeding out members who promote hate and prejudice. We promise to give you a platform that feels like a home and makes you feel a little less alone in this ever distant world. Not everyone has mental illnesses but everyone has mental health. 'TlkOut' means to speak up or share one's emotions. At TlkOut, we believe that a lack of acceptance and awareness is a leading contributor to the mental health stigma. Due to this, neither do those who are presently struggling share nor do those who have struggled in the past speak up. We provide a platform that connects the two in a safe, judgment-free environment thus encouraging them to ‘TlkOut’ and feel accepted. We believe that people will be more inclined to share if allowed to connect with those who have walked their paths and hence help them feel supported and understood during stressful periods.
