Red Angels – Year 2025 at a Glance
What started as a small initiative in Malvani, Mumbai suburbs, grew in 2025 into a city-wide blood helpline serving people across Mumbai and Thane.
In 2025, Red Angels organized 18 blood donation camps, where 980 voluntary donors came forward to donate blood and save lives.
Red Angels does not focus only on blood donation drives. We also operate a dedicated city-wide helpline, guiding and assisting patients’ families to reach the nearest blood banks during critical times.
In the year 2025 alone, Team Red Angels assisted more than 300 patients by arranging 402 units of blood completely free of cost.
From thalassemia children requiring regular transfusions, to cancer patients, accident victims, and patients coming from outside Mumbai, Red Angels proved the importance of a reliable and compassionate blood helpline.
Today, Red Angels has 1,500+ registered voluntary donors who step forward whenever and wherever blood is required.
We sincerely thank all our blood donors, volunteers, well-wishers, silent supporters, and blood centers who stood with us throughout this journey.

On the occasion of Oriental College’s Founders Day, Red Angels successfully organized a Thalassemia Awareness Session along with a Blood Donation Camp.
The awareness session was addressed by Mr. Vinay Shetty (President – Life Blood Council), who shared valuable insights on Thalassemia and highlighted the responsibilities of the younger generation. Students actively participated, making the session engaging and interactive.
Following the session, a Blood Donation Camp was conducted where many students came forward to donate blood, setting an inspiring example of social responsibility.
On this special occasion, the Red Angels Team was felicitated for organizing a successful and impactful event.
