While much has been said about 'no pain, no gain', experiencing pain and other symptoms while working out maybe concerning. At the peak of your workout session, it's perfectly normal to breathe a little harder (enough that you can still talk, but not sing), feel your heartbeat faster and sense your muscles burning up. It isn't however normal to experience excessive breathlessness, chest pain and pressure or ache in one or more parts of the body. No matter how committed, you should always pay attention when your body is sending you warning signs to stop exercising. To ensure a health-positive workout, keep track of these signs that may crop up in the face of an emergency.
