Watch your portion size to maintain healthy body weight
Excessive weight gain means that your heart has to work much harder, which often leads to high blood pressure, which in turn prompts heart diseases. A healthy body weight must be maintained. Reducing your meal portion size is an important step:
• Maintain your portion size, for example – Have ½ or 1 katori of dal and 2 chapatis or vice verse
• Know how much food you need to eat. You can always eat more when you get hungry.
• When eating out, do not order large portions. If yes, then share with your friends.
Eating small portions makes you lose stomach flab. Remember to not over eat. We eat to live, not live to eat.
