Maa has loved us in ways the world rarely notices. In the soft “khaana kha liya?” after a long day, in waiting by the door until we got home, or in sacrificing her own comfort so ours never had to be compromised. She celebrated even our smallest victories as if they were miracles, and somehow made every fear feel small with just one sentence, “Main hu na”

She never needed praise to keep giving. Her love lived quietly in packed lunchboxes, sleepless nights, warm hands on our forehead, and prayers we never even knew she whispered for us. Even on the days she was exhausted, overwhelmed, or hurting; she still found a way to make us feel safe, protected, and deeply loved.

For most of us, Maa has always been the invisible force holding everything together. The calm in our chaos. The home we keep returning to, no matter how far life takes us. And maybe we don’t say it enough, but so much of who we are exists because she never stopped believing in us, even when we stopped believing in ourselves.

Maa doesn’t just give love. She becomes it.
