A 5 year old girl was brought by her parents with complain of recurrent high grade fever and coughing..since nearly 2 months. With
~ No desire for food
~ No desire to play or to work {school}

On examination T 102°f
R/S Lt post Lz crackles +

She was on antibiotics on and off since 2 month. X-ray and USG abdomen was done on 28.12.16 which shows Lt Lz pneumonia.

I didn't advice any investigation as it was clear that it's a pneumonia which is resistant to antibiotics.

From History, I found a big mistake, that patient was given Paracetamol every time she had a fever, which was obstacle to recovery.

Bryonia 200 one dose was given at 1PM with SL for 5 days. And parents were strictly told not to interfere with fever.
Fever will follow after medicine which may be high grade but at that time use worm water sponge to help patient.

As predicted, within an hour fever went up and came down by it self. For 2 days fever was on and off. On 3rd day at 12 pm mother rang me and said she is fine now. No fever, she started eating now and playful.

I ask them to come to clinic as I want to confirm it by examination.
Her Temperature was Normal. She was smiling.
R/S Clear. And she was advised to repeat X-ray, which she did after a week.

Within 72 hrs patient was cured from MDR PNEUMONIA!!
