Elephanta island development plan...
Firstly building hotels will destroy the ecology....as trees will be cut down. What about sewage. There can be only 1 resort with maximum 20 rooms. No Helipad as the take off n landing impact will slowly destroy the temples as it is all volcanic rock. I.e layered. Cable car yes but the rest is just looking at making money which is going to lead to the pristine beauty of the island being destroyed and of course the attitude n character of the ppl will change.
Look at Bhutan restricted tourisim has enabled it to curb the destruction caused by mass tourisim.
While in India mass tourism has destroyed places like shimla n many other places in north n south india.
Look at the Mumbai Pune express way...
Along the way the tree clad hills have disappeared n there us flat land with bldgs. The country is fast turning into a concrete jungle big cats coming into towns as their habitats have been destroyed.
Elephanta island needs basic amenities like water electricity proper disposal of waste a health care center and a school.
