Chikankari is India's private platform for handcrafted embroidery commonly called “Lucknawi Chikan” that are made from traditional techniques, skills and hand-based processes. We link over hundreds of rural chikan embroiders to modern urban markets, thereby creating a base for skilled, sustainable rural employment, and preserving India's traditional handcrafted embroidery in the process. We at Chikankari use premium cotton. pure georgette, chiffon, silk etc.
