🚨🚁 Only in Dubai! The city famous for futuristic experiments has taken policing to a whole new level by testing drone-hovering hoverbikes and flying police bikes designed to patrol from the skies.

These high-tech machines, developed in partnership with a Russian startup called Hoversurf, look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. They can fly up to 16 feet above the ground at speeds of nearly 100 km/h (62 mph), giving officers a unique aerial view of traffic, crowds, and emergencies.

The goal is to cut through gridlocked traffic, reach crime scenes faster, and provide an intimidating new presence from above. While still in testing, Dubai’s police say they hope to fully integrate flying patrol bikes into their fleet within the next few years.

Of course, questions remain about safety, practicality, and training—but one thing’s for sure: Dubai is pushing the boundaries of what modern policing could look like.
