For TCP:
[root@esxi-1:~] nc -z 192.168.0.82 8182
Connection to 192.168.0.82 8182 port [tcp/*] succeeded!

For UDP:
[root@esxi-1:~] nc -uz 192.168.0.82 8182
Connection to 192.168.0.82 8182 port [udp/*] succeeded!
