Dr. Alolika Ghorui (1st year General surgery PGT) from Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital has joined the indefinite Huger strike from yesterday. With 2 main causes (justice for Abhaya Didi and proper measures to be executed so that same doesn’t happen in the future), she has shared her views for taking this huge step.

অভয়ার ন্যায়বিচারের দাবীতে, ধর্মতলায় WBJDF এর সাতজন জুনিয়র ডাক্তারের আমরণ অনশনের সংহতিতে, ক্যালকাটা ন্যাশনাল মেডিকেল কলেজে, ৮ই অক্টোবর থেকে জুনিয়র ডাক্তাররা শুরু করলেন সকাল ১০টা থেকে রাত ১০টা পর্যন্ত ১২ ঘন্টার প্রতীকী অনশন।

Junior Doctors of Calcutta National Medical College have started a 12hours symbolic hunger strike from 10am to 10pm on 8th October in solidarity with the Seven Junior Doctors of WBJDF who have started a hunger strike till death at Dharmatala in demand of Justice for Abhaya.

তাও পুলিশ ও প্রশাসন আমাদের মঞ্চ বাঁধতে বাধা দিয়েছেন, ডেকরেটরদের ভয় দেখিয়ে এখান থেকে চলে যেতে বলেছে। তাই আমরা জুনিয়র ডাক্তাররা এই দায়িত্বও নিজেদের কাঁধে তুলে নিয়েছি, নিজেদের মঞ্চ নিজেরাই বেঁধে নিচ্ছি!!!!
