Why You Should Invest

In the previous edition of the CS Championship held last year, the winning team had invested INR 900 and won a massive INR 9000, with the runners up winning INR 4200. This year, there are some new changes that are gonna make you want to invest more!

Of all the money coming from the auction pool:
HALF the money will be for the championship winners
ONE-THIRD of the money will be for the runners-up
Rest of the money will be distributed in per-match winnings.

Every team will play two matches in the league stage, where they have a chance of winning anywhere between 10% to 20% of their investment back in just one match!

The tournament will be structured in two rounds (refer to the attachment for the schematic). Round 1 will be the League Stage with two groups, each team playing two matches each. Per-match winnings will be applicable for this stage. The toppers from each group in the league stage will qualify to the semifinal. The remaining three teams will enter Round 2, the Eliminator Round. One team will be eliminated in an all-play-all in this round. The two surviving teams from Round two will proceed to the semifinals.

The auctions start today at 9 pm in the Rec Room.
