Overview:
Pulse Oximetry is a non-invasive and painless
test that measures the oxygen saturation level
in the blood and it can be used as a simple self
administered test. It can rapidly detect even small
changes in how efficiently oxygen is getting into
the blood in the lungs and being carried to all parts
of the body. Minor reduction in lung function due to
infections, COPD, Asthma, Bronchitis or any other
lung disorders can be picked up early on by the
measurement of oxygen saturation on the blood
using the fingertip pulse oximeter.

How to Use:
1) Open the clip and put your finger in the
OXimeter
2) Press the on-off button
3) Do not shake the finger and keep calm during
the process
4) Wait a few seconds and view display results

Once the test is over, your care provider will have
the readinqs available immediately. This will help
them determine if other testing or treatment is
necessary.
