A three day workshop on "Python Learning and its Application in Geosciencs" has been organized by the joint efforts of Student Chapters of Jadavpur University and Dhaka University !

The presence of Python on the participants' computers prior to the event would be advantageous. The steps for installing Python are listed below:

1.Download Anaconda at https://www.anaconda.com/products/distribution . By following the default procedures, install Anaconda. Do not attempt to install in drives labeled D:, E:, F:, etc.
2.Download Thonny at https://thonny.org.
Set up Thonny.
3.Install the programs ahead of time as Anaconda installation takes time.
