It also known as Newton's first law of motion, states that an object will remain at rest or continue to move at a constant velocity in a straight line unless acted upon by an external, unbalanced force.
In simpler terms, objects resist changes to their state of motion; those at rest stay at rest, and those in motion stay in motion at the same speed and direction.

Rainbows are formed through a combination of light refraction, reflection, and dispersion within raindrops. Sunlight enters a raindrop, bends (refracts) as it enters, and then reflects off the inner surface of the droplet. Finally, the light bends again as it exits the raindrop, separating into its constituent colours due to dispersion.
