Aparna Devi

in Thekkumbhgam, Kollam district as daughter of Anandachandran and Laila on 23/08/1995. She learned Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam from Kerala Kalamandalam And completed PG in Bharatanatyam from Kalady Sree Sankaracharya University with rank. After completing courses, Aparna is attending seminars and workshops on indian classical dance forms. She has also presented thesis on classical dance form aesthetics in national seminar. She was lucky enough to work along with leading dancer and actor, Sobhana. She has presented mohiniyattam and bharathanatyam in many state and national festivals such as nila festival, soorya festival, nisaganshi festival,kerala sangeetha nataka academy festival and so on. She has performed on Singapore fest in the year 2015. She worked as dance teacher in Kerala kalamandalam sub centre and state art fest judges panel member. Currently she is the founder and director of Mudrapeedam school of performing arts. More than 100 of students are learning classical dance under her. She is married to Ramith Ramesh. Aparna Devi is an artist who give us hope of even more brighter future.
