Introducing the Ultra Queen of Project Life – Mrs. Alina Goperma Sherpa

An Assistant Professor by profession at Satyapriya Roy College of Education, Mrs. Alina Goperma Sherpa is rapidly emerging as a formidable force in Indian Ultra and endurance running. With her unwavering determination, discipline, and passion for long-distance running, she has carved a niche for herself in a short span of time.

Her remarkable journey in athletics is highlighted by several outstanding achievements:

Winner of Half Marathon (21 km) – February 2025 at Kolkata Full Marathon (Age Category)

Winner of Full Marathon (42 km) – January 2026 at Kolkata Full Marathon (Age Category)

Winner of Kolkata Police Safe Drive Life Half Marathon (World Masters) – February 2026

1st Runner-Up – 50 km Kalimpong Ultra Marathon, April 2026

2nd Runner-Up – 100 km Border Race (Hell Race), Jaisalmer, December 2025

2nd Runner-Up – Hyderabad Full Marathon (42 km), August 2025

In addition, she has successfully participated in the challenging 50 km Tata Ultra Marathon in Lonavala, along with numerous local half and full marathons, consistently showcasing her endurance and resilience.

A proud resident of Chimney, Kurseong, Mrs. Sherpa has been a dedicated member of Project Life since 2024. Her journey stands as a powerful inspiration—proving that with commitment, perseverance, and the right mindset, one can achieve extraordinary milestones while balancing professional and personal responsibilities.
