Andhra Polytechnic (APT)., Kakinada was established in the year 1946.In 2006 Daimond Jubilee of APT was organised much grandly.15,000 diploma engineers passed out from APT till 2006. This institution holds the distinction of being the first Polytechnic College in Andhra Region. At Present, APT offers Diploma courses in 7 disciplines with an intake of 330 students.
