#1 : Mahabalipuram (महाबलीपुरम)

१.Mahabalipuram, also known as Mamallapuram, is a town in Chengalpattu district in the southeastern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, best known for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of 13,500 BCE monument .

२. Mahabalipuram was one of two major port cities by the 13th Century site.

३. The town was named in 7th century after Pallava king Narasimhavarman I, who was also known as Mahabali.

४.Along with economic prosperity, it became the site of a group of royal monuments, many carved out of the living rock.

५. These are dated to the 7th and 8th centuries: rathas (temples in the form of chariots), mandapas (cave sanctuaries), the giant open-air rock relief the Descent of the Ganges, and the Shore Temple dedicated to [[Shiva] The contemporary town plan was established by the British Raj in 1827.

६. On , Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping had an informal meet at Mahabalipuram.

#२ : Konark Temple (कोणार्क मंदिर)



1. Konark Sun Temple (Konark Surya Mandir) is the temple attributed to I of the Eastern Ganga Dynasty about 1250 CE.

2. Dedicated to the Hindu Sun God Surya, what remains of the temple complex has the appearance of a 100-foot (30 m) high chariot with immense wheels and horses, all carved from stone.

3. The name Konark derives from the combination of the Sanskrit words Kona (corner or angle) and Arka (the sun).

4. According to , the ground plan, as well the layout of sculptures and reliefs, follow the square and circle geometry, forms found in Odisha temple design texts such as the Silpasarini.

5. The temple follows the traditional style of . It is oriented towards the east so that the first rays of the sunrise strike the main entrance.
