What many of you see as a finished garment began as months of trials, mistakes, reworking, and patient craft. Kalamkari and Dabu are rarely seen together like this — and bringing them onto handspun, handwoven silk took us nearly 18 months.

Your appreciation for pieces like these is what keeps slow craft alive.

An intimate exploration of Colours of Earth.

Rooted in the dialogue between Kalamkari and Dabu, the collection is meticulously hand-painted on handspun, handwoven mulberry silk and cotton silk. Eighteen months in the making, it was developed in close collaboration with master artisans from Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh.

A collection born out of the amalgamation of Kalamkari and Dabu, hand painted on handspun and handwoven Mulberry Silk and Cotton Silk. The result of a year and a half long project, done in partnership with the artisans of Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh.
