Water(melon) you doing this summer?
We had fun making this summer delight vase.

Cool fact about watermelon- The first recorded watermelon harvest occurred nearly 5,000 years ago in Egypt and is depicted in Egyptian hieroglyphics on walls of their ancient buildings. Watermelons were often placed in the burial tombs of kings to nourish them in the afterlife.

"I am a pretty little thing,
Always coming with the spring ;
In the meadows green I'm found,
Peeping just above the ground,
With my stalk is covered flat
With white and yellow hat"

This impasto vase is inspired from the thoughts we get in a day of some random strokes simulated from the deep and casual korero of our daily lives.
