QuizAcademy and it's methodologies are being instrumental in engaged learning for female panch surpanch (Elected Women Representatives of Panchayati Raj).

Updates of a pilot completed by Moinee Foundation with Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) for Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD).

Capacity building of the Elected Women Representatives (EWRs) in Jhalawar, Rajasthan.

Best practices of Project Utkarsh and our methodology of Quiz Based engagement are utilized beyond the schools now. We used it to not only engage with female panch/surpanch to teach them about Govt. Schemes like NERGA but also got them become tech savvy (casual use of internet as well as formal tools of NERGA monitoring.) Thanks to Prof. Parashuraman (Director, TISS) and Arti Upadhyay (pilot coordinator, TISS) for this opportunity and trust.

Objective of the training were:
1. Enhancing basic digital literacy skills of the women elected representatives at the District for them to engage with the governance system effectively.
2. Providing basic skills for the EWRs to help them Monitoring, tracking of funds and resources .

Moinee Foundation's Role:
Co-designed participant engagement model with TISS. e.g. using a young girl to accompany each candidate; helping them explore their interest through internet, use of quizzing methods to get their serious participation, making use of existing ICT labs of training etc.
Used QuizAcademy to engage and train EWCs on govt. schemes. (http://www.quizacademy.org/?511129)
Session simulations with TISS volunteers on Quiz based engagement model and scheme related content creation.
Coordination with local administration for getting school ICT labs for the hands on training.
Hands on practice in school ICT lab for basic usage and making use of MNERGA dashboard.
