Solar Rooftop Acceleration Mission - SRAM

Govt of India set a Solar Installation target of 100 GW by 2022, which was further revised to 300 GW by 2030. Country's Utility-scale solar capacity addition is on track and India is set to achieve the targets on time BUT there will be a 25 GW shortfall in meeting the 40 GW Rooftop Solar target The country is set to miss the SOLAR ROOFTOP target by 27 per cent, casting a shadow over the ambitious plan.
