Gender Discrimination in Permanent Commissioning in Indian Army.

This all begins with a casual WhatsApp group call among friends of my daughter Aksh*ta Sharma. They all are 10+2 passed out and the discussion about equal opportunities available to them. One of their friends pointed out that no that girls and boys are not equal. Girls are considered weaker when it comes to save our frontiers. My daughter counter them with arguments that no its not true now even the government is allowing women in combatant roles in Armed Forces and the girls are now flying fighter jets. The other guys come with his counter arguments that No Indian Army still differentiate between boys and girls SEE the advertisement for Permanent Commission through Technical Entry Scheme -52.

My daughter was answerless and obliviously the question comes to me with adjective "WHY. Why it is so".

The result is the Rajasthan High Court has accepted her petition.
