Well, rightly said.
It's been two years that I had been to , built in the form of a Chariot, by Narasimhadeva 1 of East Ganga Dynasty in 13th Century. The main attraction of the temple is this Wheel, one among the 24 wheels, also used a sundial to calculate the accurate time of the day, just by analyzing the shadow cast by the spokes of the wheel. This marvelous structure is a best example for .
Though part of the is in ruins , this temple attracts many tourists towards it , I was one among them . The time I reached this temple there was a slight drizzle , which later subsided, giving me a chance to photograph such a beautiful picture of the wheel. Isn't it beautiful?! The architecture of Virupaksha temple is so designed that the inverted shadow of the Raja Gopura falls on the wall of Saalu mantapa which is more than 300 meters away , on the other end of the temple complex, which works on the concept of pin-hole camera effect.
