Job Description
2+ Years of strong Hadoop/Big Data experience with an overall industry experience of 5+ years at various levels with good amount of in Java programming.
· Strong Experience with Hadoop ETL/Data Ingestion: Sqoop, Flume, Hive, Spark, Hbase [ Hortonworks / Cloudera]
· Experience in Real Time Data Ingestion using one of the following Kafka, Storm, Spark or Complex Event Processing (CEP)
· Experience in Hadoop Data Consumption and Other Components such as : Map Reduce programming , Hive, Hue, HBase, Phoenix, Spark, Mahout, Pig, Impala
· Experience in open source frameworks/tools like Maven, Ant, Subversion, Git and Linux
· Able to deploy Hadoop cluster, add and remove nodes, keep track of jobs, monitor critical parts of the cluster, configure high availability, schedule and configure and take backups.
· Strong analytical skills and business requirement understanding skills
· Experience working with Python/JSP is additional plus.
