This KHAMOR ANGKHUI festival is celebrate by CHINGJAROI VILLAGE, Jessami Block, Ukhrul District - 795142.
Manipur, Northeast, India.
Chingjaroi Village is the largest Village in Ukhrul District Manipur and the most populated village and most developed village among the Tangkhul community.
The first Eco friendly village recognised by the Government of Manipur.
This village is located at the Northern Tangkhul side. Around 70 km away from District HQ.
This village is rich in culture and great hospitality.
Chingjaroi village population is more than 6500.
Chingjaroi village is bordering to
Eastern side - Tusom and Chingai village.

This KHAMOR ANGKHUI FESTIVAL is celebrated in the month of April 2nd week every year. This festival they celebrate 5/6 days every year.
# In this village in the year 1894 April 4 their is a great massacre by the kuki killed more than 280 men and women (According to Govt. report) but according to village elders/village history report they killed more than 600 people's.
This is the great massacre in the history of Tangkhul Naga community killed by the kuki tribe.

This KHAMOR ANGKHUI FESTIVAL is very UNIQUE cultural festival among the Tangkhul community festival.
In this village their are so many Tourism spot. CHINGJUI MATHA (CHINGCHUI PEAK) WATER FALL, LOVER'S POINT, ANGLANG DANG (ANGLANG PLAN) Dan and very rich in cultural heritage.
