Day 1 of the two day compulsory enrolment of facilities on NHPR for all private hospitals, clinic, diagnostic labs and pharmacies under ABDM Model District Initiative for Imphal West, Manipur under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West conducted next to Kombirei Hall, DC Office Complex, Lamphelpat on 21st July 2026.

A total of 110 private facilities operating in Imphal West were registered on this day.

Since the implementation of the Model District Initiative in Imphal West, Manipur, the district has witnessed a remarkable increase in ABHA creation (over 1 lakh new ABHAs within three weeks), NHPR registrations, and overall adoption of ABDM digital health services, demonstrating improved stakeholder participation in the private sector and accelerated digital health transformation.

In order to enhance understanding of General Financial Rule (GFRs), Grant-in-Aid (GIA) processes, utilization certificates, Financial reporting and related procedures, ABDM Manipur attended the Financial Management Workshop organized by the National Health AuthorityNHA on the 8th of July 2026 at the Indian institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi
