reported Malaysia’s Feb'26 palm oil stocks at 2.70 MMT, down 3.95% M-o-M, but slightly above market expectations of 2.63–2.65 MMT. Production declined sharply by 18.56% M-o-M, while exports dropped by 24% to 1.13 MMT. Domestic consumption also edged slightly lower during Feb'26.

Overall, the report is considered bearish, particularly with stocks remaining 1.2 MMT higher on a Y-o-Y basis.

However, the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East is likely to keep the market highly volatile, potentially influencing price movements in the near term.
