आजसे शारदीय नवरात्रि शुरू हो गई है। भक्तों में नवरात्रि को लेकर अलग ही उत्साह देखने को मिलता है। क्योंकि इस बार एक महीने की देरी से नवरात्रि का उत्सव शुरू हो रहा है। हालांकि, इस बार कोरोनावायरस के प्रभाव के चलते भारत के मंदिरों में ज्यादा भीड़ देखने को नहीं मिलेगी। लेकिन आप अपने घर में खूब रौनक के साथ नवरात्रि की पूजा-अर्चना कर सकते हैं। नवरात्रि के दौरान मां दुर्गा के 9 स्वरुपों की पूजा पूरे विधि-विधान के साथ की जाती है। यही कारण है कि इसे दुर्गा पूजा भी कहा जाता है। JAY MATA DI

Happy Teacher's Day 2020

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was an illustrious Indian scholar and teacher. In 1962, he became the second President of India. Some of his students showed keen interest in celebrating his birthday which was on 5th September and approached him with the same idea. Radhakrishnan then asked them to celebrate the day as Teachers’ Day instead of his birthday and that would make him feel honoured. Ever since, 5th September is dedicated to all the teachers across the country, and celebrated as Teachers’ Day. This day is celebrated to honour and acknowledge the contributions made by mentors, gurus, and teachers who play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of children.

Independence Day 2020 will be celebrated across India on Sunday, August 15. India will celebrate 74 years of freedom this year. On this day in 1947, Independent India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru unfurled the Indian tricolour flag to mark India's freedom from the British rule. India celebrates the day by remembering the sacrifices of the heroes who fought during India's freedom struggle and cultural programmes with patriotic songs are organised at different places across the country.
