Greetings Freshmen!

New to the field of Earth Sciences? Don't worry; dive deep into the world of Geosciences as we bring 'Gateway to Geosciences' to clear all your doubts and an opportunity to learn more about the societies that work in the domain of Geosciences .

A fun and interactive quiz will also be conducted, so make sure to attend to learn about the future opportunities that wait for you ahead.
Refreshments will be provided after the talk.

In association with Cognizance 2021, IIT Roorkee SEG Student Chapter successfully conducted the event 'GeoCognito- A Geoscience Quiz' with more than 580 registrations. We received an overwhelming participation from different colleges in India. Opening the opportunity to the global community, we had participants from Brazil, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, and South Africa. We are pleased to have been able to reach out to an avid geoscience community.
We heartily congratulate the winners who outperformed their fellow mates to bag exciting cash prizes worth ₹10000. The cash prizes have been awarded to all the winners, and participation certificates awarded to all quiz contestants.
Those who didn't make it to the Top 5, don't worry! We look forward to organizing more such events in the future. Stay tuned, folks!
