On 20 June 2026, an inspiring yoga session was organised at πŸ“Ravi Nagar, Sector 9, Gurugram under the "Give Her A Voice – Adolescent Girl Empowerment" project, supported by our CSR partner OakNorth. πŸ’š

πŸ‘₯ 52 participants came together to celebrate wellness and mindfulness through:

πŸ“°βœ¨ Strengthening Government Collaboration for Girls’ Empowerment in Gurugram πŸ€πŸ‘§

On 12 June 2026, Sukarya’s Head – Programs, Dr. Chanda Jha, along with the Gender Equality Program team, met with Ms. Sumita Rangi, District Elementary Education Officer (DEEO), Gurugram, and Mr. Manoj Lakra, District Coordinator, NIPUN Mission, to share the progress of the OakNorth-supported project, "Give Her a Voice – Adolescent Girls Empowerment."

🌟 The officials appreciated the project’s contribution to strengthening and supporting key government initiatives, including Balika Manch, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), and Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK), across government schools in Gurugram.

πŸ’œ Through strong partnerships and collaborative efforts, the project is creating greater opportunities for adolescent girls to learn, lead, and thrive, while advancing SDG 5: Gender Equality.

On 29 & 30 May 2026, awareness sessions were conducted under the Anaemia and Malnutrition Prevention & Control Program, supported by Wipro Cares, across πŸ“Sarhaul, Dundahera, and Basai, Gurugram, with support from local Anganwadi Centres. 🀝✨

🎯 The sessions focused on:
🩸 Menstrual hygiene management
🩺 Reproductive health
🌱 Safe menstrual practices
πŸ’¬ Myth-busting and open discussions
✨ Promoting health, hygiene, and dignity

Interactive discussions encouraged participants to speak openly about menstrual health and make informed choices.

🎁 As part of the initiative, 100 Menstrual Hygiene Kits were distributed to adolescent girls and women. The kits were thoughtfully assembled by dedicated Wipro Cares employees during an employee volunteering activity, reflecting their commitment to promoting menstrual health, hygiene, and dignity for women and girls in the community. πŸ’™πŸŒΈ
