Working with EDvantage Learn has been an enriching journey, not just professionally but personally, connecting me deeply with my roots and the joy of sharing knowledge. The chance to travel, especially to places rich in my heritage, has added a precious layer to this experience. On February 14th, 2024, a visit to St. Xavier’s School in Pedong, Kalimpong, took me near Maria B***y, the village where my grandmother grew up. This place holds the stories of the first Catholic families in the hills, including my own. My cousin, Fr. Emanuel Hilton, now leads the church there, drawing me closer to my family’s history.
This first visit to Maria B***y was a journey back in time, feeling the presence of my grandmother and connecting with my heritage in a profound way. EDvantage has made these moments possible, intertwining my passion for education with my personal history, motivating me even more to continue our mission to Educate, Empower, and Evolve.
