Socheygang House

We’re excited to share our first rammed earth house —and our maiden venture into design and build. This project holds a special place in our journey, made possible by our dedicated team and by our client’s unwavering trust as we navigated challenges and learning along the way.

We’re looking for an architect with some experience in heritage conservation for a six-month, on-site role in Arunachal Pradesh.

If you, or someone you know, has worked with traditional buildings, enjoys community-led projects, and is comfortable working hands-on in a remote setting — this could be a good fit.

Stipend: ₹30,000/month
Support: Travel and accommodation can be arranged
Role: Oversee the repair and adaptive reuse of a traditional house into a homestay

Time is an essential ingredient in creating architecture- a feeling that deepens each time you visit the site. Bringing a building to life from the drawing board takes patience, hard-work, rigour and constant communication. Bee Green Farms is now nearing completion.

Berbing House

The house is perched on the northern part of the site where the land was much steeper and the southern part of the land where the land flattens out is left for vegetables farming and fruit trees. This also enables the house and the land to capture the sun throughout the day. The house cantilevers towards the valley that faces the Gangtok hill offering a panoramic view of the rapidly growing city. During the day, the view can be overwhelming but during the night, it becomes spectacular because of the city lights.
