The District Administration, Tinsukia, has issued an order to ensure uninterrupted and fair supply of LPG cylinders in the district.

📞 A Toll-Free Control Room Number – 1077 has been activated for the public to report issues such as:

• Artificial shortage
• Hoarding
• Overcharging
• Black-marketing

This initiative aims to safeguard consumer interests and maintain smooth LPG distribution across the district.
All concerned authorities and LPG distributors have been directed to take immediate action on complaints received.

Inauguration of Jagannath Community Centre at Bogapani, Tea Garden line patta distribution and Ration card distribution under NFSA under Digboi Co District.

The event was attended by Hon'ble MLA Digboi LAC Sri Suren Phukan, Smti Phyllis Hrangchal, Co District Commissioner, Digboi Co District and PRI members.

A total of 802 pattas were distributed under Bogapani Tea Garden in the first phase and 206 new Ration cards distributed simultaneously.

The Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme programme is scheduled to be held on 10th March'2026 across 13 Gaon Panchayat Offices under the Digboi Co-District. The initiative aims to further strengthen the Government of Assam’s commitment towards providing financial support and social security to eligible beneficiaries, particularly women, thereby promoting inclusive growth and economic empowerment at the grassroots level.

In addition to the programmes in the Gaon Panchayat areas, a separate event will also be organized for the Municipal Board area at Paragdhar Chaliha Auditorium, which falls under the jurisdiction of Digboi Co-District.

The programme will witness the participation of beneficiaries, public representatives, and officials from the District and Co-District administration, marking another significant step towards ensuring welfare and development for the people of the region. The administration invites all concerned beneficiaries and citizens to be part of this important initiative........

Necessary traffic diversions, movement restrictions, and security protocols will remain in force along the designated routes during the specified time period. Commuters are advised to cooperate with the traffic police, follow all official instructions, and plan their travel accordingly in order to avoid inconvenience and to ensure the smooth conduct of the rally and the maintenance of public safety and order.............
