Meet the kukri snake — named for its kukri-knife shaped teeth, but it's all bark and no bite. Non-venomous, shy, and great for the ecosystem. This little one was rescued from a house in Digboi and sent home to the wild.

Kukri snakes are non-venomous and harmless to humans, though they can give a nip if handled.

This monocled cobra was rescued today after it strayed into a home in Digboi (Assam)
Named for the single "monocle" or 0-shaped marking on its hood, it's one of India's Big Four venomous snakes. Though its venom is potent, cobras usually avoid humans and strike only when threatened.
Thanks to quick action by Arindam Dey,this beauty was safely released back into the wild.

Beauty with a Warning🐍
Another one stunning banded krait was rescued after it wandered into a home in Ramnagar.
Known for its bold black-and-yellow bands and glossy scales, it's one of India's most venomous snakes — but also one of the calmest. It rarely bites unless provoked. Thanks to Trinayan Gogoi who rescued it safely and this nocturnal beauty was safely released back into the wild where it belongs.Remember: If you see a snake, don't panic and don't try to handle it.
