Toyota is all set to launch the 2014 Corolla Altis that was recently revealed at the New Delhi Auto Expo 2014. While Toyota previously released a brochure with engine specs and color options at the Auto Expo, the new images reveal variant-wise features of both petrol and diesel Altis. 2014 Petrol corolla Altis will get 5 variants namely J, G, G-cvt, GL and VL. The diesel Corolla Altis on the other hand gets only 4 variants namely J, J(S), G and GL.
The Corolla Altis 1.8 J gets the same features as the earlier J variant, However G variant onwards the new Altis is loaded with features like Jack-Knife key, Illuminated Cup-Holders, Fiber Carbon and Piano black IP clusters, reading lamps, reverse sensors, rear- reclining seats, rear power socket, rear fog lamp and brake assist.
As per our sources the new Altis will be available for deliveries by July-2014 as dealerships have already started taking bookings for the Altis. It is expected that Toyota will launch the new Altis in April 2014 with a price increase of Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 over the current Altis' prices.
