Employee Engagement is very important dimension of managing talent in KEPL. A newly joined employee is inducted such that (s)he is professionally, socially and culturally integrated. The employee is made aware of the company’s policies, organisational hierarchy, organisational goals, vision and mission and existing customers. An induction plan depending on the level of new joinee is prepared and the employee is made to interact with all relevant departments. KEPL follows a dynamic way of appraising its employees. Performance of employees completing one year of continuous service with KEPL are reviewed in the month in which his/her appraisal is due. Systematic review of performance on the basis of employee’s current Responsibilities & Authorities is conducted and appraisals are done.
