COAI recently concluded its Annual General Body Meeting for FY 2025–26, announcing Mr. Rahul Vatts, Group Chief Regulatory Officer and Director, Corporate Affairs, Bharti Airtel Limited, as Chairperson and Dr. Ravi P. Gandhi, Chief Regulatory Officer, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd., as Vice-Chairperson for 2026–27. Bringing together decades of experience in telecom policy, regulation and industry leadership, the new leadership team will help steer the sector through its next phase of growth and innovation. Congratulating the new leadership, Lt. Gen. Dr. S.P. Kochhar, Director General, COAI, highlighted that as AI, 5G Advanced, satellite communications and future 6G technologies evolve, India's telecom sector will continue to play a pivotal role in driving innovation, inclusion and economic growth.
