Toronto, the wait is finally over! Shaam-e-Rekhta brings an unforgettable weekend of poetry, music, and theatrical brilliance to the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga on September 19 and 20, 2026.

To bring this experience to as many of you as possible, the exact same spectacular double-feature will be staged on both days. Each evening will unfold as follows:

5:00 PM to 6:30 PM EDT | Roohaniyat
The evening begins with live, soul-stirring Sufi music, featuring a powerful performance by the incredible Rabbi Shergill.

7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EDT | Rang Aur Noor
Following a brief transition, the stage transforms for a grand musical theatrical written and directed by Huma Khalil. Featuring 30 artists on a single stage, this production honors the masterpieces of Urdu poets in cinema. It is an authentic, beautifully crafted showcase that has earned high praise from legends like Javed Akhtar and Feroz Abbas Khan.
