It considers the importance of weaving proximity and expanse into an urban fabric which is contemporary, vernacular, as well as bears a character of timelessness. STEP does not believe in a design process, and considers "evolution" as a key ingredient to eternity. The organisation is formed of a group of architects who see architecture as an art, as science, and as a social responsibility.
