The Hope Project was founded in 1980 by the Sufi teacher, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. Moved by the extreme poverty of the people living near the mausoleum of his father Hazrat Inayat Khan, he envisioned a program, which would enable the poor to help themselves. St. Nicholas Day
On the occasion of St. Nicholas Day, Hope Project was honoured to welcome the German Ambassador, who visited the campus and brought joy and warmth to the children by gifting them special presents. The Ambassador spent meaningful time interacting with the students of Hope Non-Formal School, engaging with them in a friendly and encouraging manner. The visit created a festive and memorable atmosphere, bringing smiles to the children’s faces and making Nicholas Day truly special. Summer Camp: (1st June to 15th June, 2025)
This year's summer camp was conducted from June 1st to June 15th, 2025 during the summer holidays in Welcome Colony and Jafrabad centres. The students of support classes enjoyed various engaging activities like- fireless cooking, storytelling, movie screening and discussion, art, craft, music, dance etc.
